The Issue: Old and New Legislation
We can help! - Initial on or off site assessment - Do the new regulations apply to your organisation? - Training and/or assisting your personnel to perform a self-audit and reports. - Perform an external audit as required by the authorities complying with AS 3598:2000 - Level 1 - walk through and report, recommended for initial evaluation - Level 2 - investigation and measurement of major items - Level 3 - detailed analysis, required by large energy generators and users - Inclusion of Victorian EPA Reporting requirements to avoid extra work Contact us: info@spare-exchange.com or Self Audit Legislation in a nutshell: Summary of the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act 2007 Requirements for mandatory reporting Definitions – Organisations that may be required to report
Facility means single location of single principal product or activity attributed to one industry sector only but includes secondary activities for reporting purposes. Examples are a factory, a processing plant or a food manufacturing plant. Corporation (or Joint Venture) means all partners or facilities report as one entity, principal activity is the one with the most value for external goods and/or services, reporting include all activities generating Greenhouse emissions. Examples are manufacturing plants of a corporation (car company with several plants) or food-manufacturing plants owned by one corporation. This applies to all states and territories. For transport companies (trucking etc.), gas- and oil transporting companies using pipelines other regulations apply, please contact us for more information.
